The Organist is a short documentary film about Cinema Organist Dave Nicholas who has been playing the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall Cinema screen up for twenty years.

The film features Dave playing the organ at the United Reform Church in Tranmere, Birkenhead, where he has played the services for ten years. Following his love of music and a few thoughts on life, this is a short film about one man who has played one instrument for half a century plus four years.
